Follow steps from there. You wont even take 3 minutes . thank me later

Subject: Re: Reminder Notice for Payment Defaulter for Obligation Income Tax – Resident Individual and period 01/01/2017 to 31/12/2017
I retired wef June 30, 2017 and have since relocated to my rural home. This is the reason I was unable to file my tax returns in time due to challenges experienced in accessing internet. When i managed to come to Nairobi, its when i was able to file my returns but by then, it was only on 2nd July 2018. The following day, while still in Nairobi, i received a message you had slammed me with this fine!
Honestly, and with due respect to your esteemed office, i have never failed to file my returns throughout my entire working period. But now with this fine, and subsequent reminder, it makes me feel that retiring and retreating to ones rural home is criminal. I have gone to your offices seeking a reprieved but i am informed ' you have been informed to collect taxes…." period!
i still appeal, i together with my wife retired to our rural home and have no other source of income. we cannot raise this kind of fine (and its subsequent penalty).
I still remain a law abiding Kenyan,

    Bill

    Dear BILL AGGREYS LIJOH,
This is to inform you that, you have not paid tax of 20,000.00 (Ksh) for the Obligation Income Tax – Resident Individual and period 01/01/2017 to 31/12/2017 by due date 30/06/2018.

Kindly pay your tax within next 15 days ending on 13/11/2018, failure to which will attract penalty/interest.

Also, please find attached the copy of payment defaulter notice.

Please consult West of Nairobi Tax Office for any queries.

  11. It seems kenyans need to get some awareness of clarity http://embucomputer.blogspot.com/2018/06/all-problems-encountered-in-itax-kenya.html

  12. Poor presenter! The steps and the portal are not in sync! If the itax site is updated, why not update the steps for filling the tax too? These govt sites suck!

  13. hey why does mine say " you don't require filling the return as there is no source of income declared in your profile"

  14. I keep getting an error when compiling. Runtime Error 1004. Nothing works right after that. Even after manually saving the file and ziping it, I cannot upload it.
