  1. What really triggers my Thalassophobia is looking underwater, and being a few feet away from a drop off into pitch black, or looking underwater to find out you're swimming over a large pit of darkness.

  2. Well, now I'm sure that I don't have thalassophobia. Call me crazy, but imo most of the photos are more fascinating than frightening.

  3. Somewhere in universe, there is a planet with 100km deep ocean. Just imagine it. I feel uncomfortable just thinking about it.

  4. The GIANT hole was actually fasinating and Pretty the last one i was eating square Biscuits and Just Sat there in Shock

  5. I have thalassphobia and I hate the ocean. It's my biggest fear for example. If I was in the middle of. Nowhere in a dark empty space I would cry. Especially if I saw or heard something odd.

  6. I did for a while now. I’m also scared of water. My friend pushed me in a pool and I was shaking for 3 days 🙂

  7. Yep big ol' yep.
Especially waves, when I watched Interstellar in the theater, the big ass wave scene made me run out of the room almost crying.

  8. The scariest of all was 0:10 it's terrifying to me to see the little powerless human leg in this dark water, i like water when i can see the shapes of what is beneath, when i can't see… Well… It's just terrifying!

  9. im legit scared of annything inside water/pool(even the drain thing, thats the scariest thing in the pool for me)/etc

  10. I grew up with "The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau" on TV and read "The Silent World" in grade school, plus I live on an island in the North Pacific. I don't have a fear of the sea or sea travel. Hawaii can only be reached by ship or aircraft and the only way to get from island to island is/was to "float or fly." So I'm OK with boats, ships, and aircraft. I've heard of people who are afraid of travel by air. (A group of Hawaii grade schoolers visited China and had to calm the fears of Chinese students who had never flown in an aircraft.) Dark or murky water is better left until after sunrise so you can see…something below the surface. Underwater lights can help if the body of water is (somewhat) clear.
